1989 Born August 10 in Holon, Israel. 2006 May 31: Signed for Chelsea from Hapoel Tel Aviv for £320,000, having previously spent a two month period on trial. October 7: Made his debut for Israel U-21s in a playoff against France when he scored Israel's goal in the away leg which ended 1-1. 2007 January 6: Made his Chelsea debut coming on as a substitute for Salomon Kalou in the 76th minute of his team's FA Cup match against Macclesfield Town. January 13: Made his English Premier League debut coming off the bench to replace Arjen Robben in the 82nd minute of the match against Wigan. February 7: At the age of 17 1/2, he became the youngest player to ever play for the Israel national football team, in a friendly match against Ukraine. March 28: Scored twice in Israel's 4-0 win over Estonia in their Euro 2008 Group E qualifier to became his country's youngest ever international scorer at 17 years and 230 days.
