November: Makes Argentine first division league playing for Newells in a 2-2 draw against Huracan.
1997
Joins Sporting Lisbon.
1999
Returns to Argentina and plays for Independiente.
2001
January: Joins Villarreal, playing only 13 matches.
2002
May: His 9 goals in Spanish top flight were not enough to save Tenerife from relegation.
2003
January: Returns Independiente for the second time, now on loan from Tenerife.
December: Joins Pumas UNAM, on loan from Tenerife.
2004
January: Makes Mexican league debut in a 1-1 draw against arch-rivals America.
