1975 Born June 15 in Parana, Entre Rios. 1995 November: Makes Argentine first division league playing for Newells in a 2-2 draw against Huracan. 1997 Joins Sporting Lisbon. 1999 Returns to Argentina and plays for Independiente. 2001 January: Joins Villarreal, playing only 13 matches. 2002 May: His 9 goals in Spanish top flight were not enough to save Tenerife from relegation. 2003 January: Returns Independiente for the second time, now on loan from Tenerife. December: Joins Pumas UNAM, on loan from Tenerife. 2004 January: Makes Mexican league debut in a 1-1 draw against arch-rivals America. May: Top scorer of the Mexican Torneo de Clausura (regular season) with 16 goals in 17 matches. June: Wins Clausura title with Pumas, the Universidad club's first trophy in 13 years. July: Forced to leave UNAM as the club could not pay Tenerife to buy him. December: After 6 months without playing, Pumas finally pays Tenerife and buys the Argentine striker. 2005 November: Scores a hat trick in the Copa Sudamericana semifinal against Velez and helps Pumas advance to the final. 2006 May: Joins Toluca on a permanent deal from Pumas UNAM. September 16: Bruno Marioni scored four goals, including two penalties, as Toluca routed Tigres 7-0 in the Mexican Torneo de Apertura.
